Fearlessly poised, eagle eyes magnetically

Fasten mine to yours;

In a homemade gill net I am caught in your grey sea depths-

Wise as dolphins, youth vibrantly pours forth,

Soundless waves echo, bounce and gyrate off ocean floor

Ping-ponging their way along a pinball trail-

As your spirit dives into empty air.

Your lithe body paints a freestyle dive on an empty air molecule canvas-

Each skin cell sheds cleanly, recording your energetic pulls at air strands.

I catch you

A smile lurks and quirks.

Again my eyes are fastened to your intense ones

And find that it is

who is captive to

your eagle eyes

Jasper is finally weaned onto regular milk. Both he and mom survived along with a few tears and help from Jasper’s Dad!

Now, he is a regular milk and bread man, just like Granpa Pranis.

Lately he has enjoyed exploring the world of food as he painted himself in cereal.

No updates here in a couple years. I think we’ll start using this for our son’s pictures, but I’ll let you know.

Anyway, I hope to update the site and the software soon.

Greetings family and friends from Roma! John and I have had a fantastic time in this ancient and yet thriving city.

We have just finished early Christmas shopping, but our travels have included a great work out in the hike to Mt. Vesuvius, comparing ancient Pompeii with current Rome and even the US.

Talking and connecting not only to each other in a special way as we daily fall more in love but also with other workshop participants who were also here to learn more about Rome and the bible.

The food is incredible and to be sorely missed as we return . . .and Laryssa is excited though to start her life with her wonderful husband. She feels especially inspired by John and her time in Rome to be serious about her love of writing . . . be on the look out to be guinea pigs of her forthcoming adventures and scribbles . . .

love to you all and Thanks for making our Wedding Day and our relationship so wonderful . . .See you soon Omaha,

Love, Laryssa

We are happy to have friends and family celebrate the beginning of the next great adventure in our lives. We are celebrating our marriage in a cozy setting, so we can’t publish the address. In your invite, you will find the correct address and directions to the wedding.

It will start at 2pm sharp and the dress is semi-formal. What does semi-formal mean? Well, it means wear what you feel beautiful in. It means don’t wear a tuxedo unless that’s what you feel beautiful in. Come, relax, and share in our celebration.

For those that could not join us from Omaha, Jeff and Karla Lessman have graciously offered to have a reception for us in November. As details are confirmed, we’ll let you know!

At long last, Laryssa and I have registered for gifts from three different stores. We tried to find stores that allow you to purchase online or that are located nationwide. Giftcards are perfectly fine – we love to shop! Also know that when we requested a set (for example pots and pans) you can purchase an individual piece instead of purchasing the entire set. Here are the stores where we are registered:

Bed, Bath, and Beyond

Pier 1 Imports

You may also buy us giftcards to Cost Plus’s World Market. They do not allow the creation of registries because their stock changes constantly. You may purchase giftcards here

This is Laryssa and I’s website. We created it so that we could keep in touch with everyone without endless phone calls and confusion.
